Classical Conditioning Theory: The Russian psychologist Ivan Pavlov propounded this classical conditioning theory.

Instrumental Conditioning Theory: This learning theory was postulated by U.S. based psychologist, B.K. Skinner.

Observational Learning Theory: This theory was propounded by Albert Bandura.

Flooding: It is behavioural technique used by counsellor to treat phobia while working with the client.

Mary Richmond Phases of Social Case Work Progress: According to Mary Richmond there are three phases of social case work practice:
·       social investigation or psycho-social study,
·       diagnosis and
·       treatment or management.

·        social investigation or study,
·        assessment,
·        intervention,
·        termination and
·        evaluation.

Types of Diagnosis – H.H. Perlman told three types of diagnosis.
·        dynamic diagnosis,
·        clinical diagnosis,
·        etiological diagnosis.
